ACCOMODATION: Accommodation consists of seven luxury tents with four-poster beds, sprung orthopedic mattresses, Persian carpets and flushing toilets. In addition there are three beige Selous tents. All tents are en-suite and overlook the Ewaso Ngiro River. Furnished with safari antiques, Persian rugs, campaign furniture, flickering lanterns, crisp linen, four poster beds, private en-suite dressing rooms, bathrooms with safari style canvas baths, showers and porcelain flushing loos. LOCATION: Bedouin is located in the northern Frontier District, Samburu. Air Kenya has daily schedule services to Samburu South airstrip. There is a private airstrip, seven kilometres from camp. From Nairobi approximately 6 hours, from Nanyuki approximately 3.5 hours travelling by road. The camp is situated in one of the prime wildlife locations in Africa, so the diversity of game and scenic beauty is beyond comparison. Leopard, Lion, Cheetah, Caracal, herds of enormous Bull Elephant, are all regular visitors to the camp. ACTIVITIES: The camp tailor makes activities to suit each guest’s requirements. A minimum of 3 nights is recommended to fully enjoy and explore the area, with an extra day or two for fly camps or fishing trips to Lake Turkana. Massage and aromatherapy facilities are available upon prior request at the camp.
